This is a short tutorial for our new Sector Cloud product. After your initial order, our system will automatically create an account and link in our Sector panel. This allows our customers to simply login from our portal into the panel.
The panel looks like this after your first VM order, when you login through our portal:
In this overview you are able to manage some of the important features of your panel account, including; change of your password or settings for 2FA/two-factor authentication (we recommend you to enable this).
When you click Manage on a VM (in this example we click for the one that is "Awaiting Setup", a brand new non-provisioned VM), you will be brought to a page which is dedicated to the selected VM. It looks like this:
You are able to select a predefined OS template, which allows our system to deploy your VM within a matter of seconds. If you are stubborn, or just like to waste time, or really care about security you can select SELF INSTALL.
If you want, you can enable IPv6 on the same page. At the end of the page we strongly recommend you to select or add an SSH key (if you do not provide a key, our system will email you the root password, be sure to change this after first login).
